Besides the well known Ao Nang Beach and the Noppharathara Beach there are still other beautiful beaches around too, like:

  • Klong Muang Beach,
  • Tub Keak Beach,
  • Rei Leh Beach;
  • Tonsai and the not well known and less frequently visited Long Beach.

more nice beaches you can also find on the islands in front of Ao Nang.

Islands

Proda, Hong Island, Chicken Island, Bamboo Island, you cannot count them all - die charming islands in front of ao nang.

To discover really everything, you already will need to plan for multiple daytrips.

And not forget to make a trip to Phi Phi Island

and the neighbor island Koh Phi Phi Leh with its breath-taking Maya Bay, well known from the film "The Beach" with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Tiger Cave / Hot Springs / Emerald Pools

Experience on your own or book with a local tourist guide a wonderfull daytrip.

Start with the Tiger-Cave in Krabi and climb up the 1270 steps of the buddhist temple and enjoy the magnificent view on the top of the hill.

And in case it maybe to hot for you in Krabi, the hot springs yield to a small lake which has a pleasant temperature.

And nearly just around the corner there are the Emerald Pools. Clear Water

- like a laguna in the middle of the jungle

Where have u seen something like that?

Dragon Crest

You dont have to be a top athelete but a good portion of fitness you should already bring with you for going up the 1,5 to 2 hours climb to 500 meters height.

But your efforts gonna pay off, because you will be rewarded with a breath-taking view.
